Coach Deans Names the Major Sox Team to Indonesia

Major Sox U23’s Head Coach Steven Deans have named a 15 man roster to attend the Makassaar Men’s Open in October.

The squad includes four returning players from the team that competed at the 2017 U23 Australian State Championships.
Deans says ”we are excited about the talent coming through with 7 players under 20 years of age and a mix of provincial representation from across the country”.

The team will be captained by the experienced Connor Peden who will look for guidance from fellow Golden Homes Black Sox trialist Callum Bishop.

The team will attend a weekend camp in September in preparation for the Indonesian tour.

Developing Sox Boys Assistant Coach Appointed
Wayne Nichols has been reappointed as the Assistant Coach of the DSX U15 Boys team for the next two years. Nichols will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the campaign given his longevity in the game.

The DSX squad will assemble for camp at Fraser Park 13-15, July.
